4S Ranch School of Music

The 4S Ranch School of Music is a collaboration of teachers that share the same teaching philosophy.
The 4S Ranch School of Music was founded in 2008 by Liliana Lazzari (flute), Andrew Geib (trombone, trumpet, euphonium, tuba, jazz improve, jazz band) and Adan Provencio (flute).  Jef Dooley (trombone, percussion) joined in 2011.

Mission Statement

Our Mission is to guide students to achieve their musical goals to their fullest potential and maintain the highest level of music teaching and student performance.  Through an approach of limitless expectations that allow students to joyfully pursue their musical aspirations by employing a program of learning uniquely designed for each student.

What makes the 4S Ranch School of Music unique?

We strive to customize music learning to our students individual needs.  Our goal is to help students achieve their potential and meet their goals...not to help students achieve the goals we think they should be meeting.  The teachers of the 4S Ranch School of Music have found that setting artificial goals for our students accomplishes only the goals that we set for them and does not motivate students to do more.  When students are setting their own goals we find that they often surpass our expectations and are more intrinsically motivated to achieve.  All 4SSM students place very well in competitions, chair placements, and level testing for Certificate of Merit...without their teachers having to set their goals for them.
